World Book Day this year is Thursday 7th March.
We will be celebrating in school with special activities in classes, and the children will be given their World Book Day book token that can be spent in most bookshops, or at the Scholastic Book Fair that will be in school the following week. The book token can be put towards the cost of a book of your child’s choice, or can be used to buy a whole book from the selected list!
If the children would like to, they can come to school on World Book Day wearing one item of clothing, or with an object, that represents a character from one of their favourite books. The children can try to work out which character everyone has chosen – including the staff!
