At Starcross our PTFA work hard to find new and exciting ideas to raise money for the school and provide children with fun memorable experiences.

As a new small team appointed in September 2022, we are keen to grow our members and become a really strong community within the school. The named roles in Starcross PTFA are currently Kelly Hawker (Chair), Becky Baker (Treasurer) and Laura Mason (Secretary) plus other members in non-named roles and many other opportunities we would love to fill. This group is just for parents & carers of children at the school.

We are currently working on some exciting projects for this coming year, including discos, a summer fete and pre-loved uniform sales to name just a few. We are always looking for new suggestions of fun events and ways to fundraise, so please get in touch if you have any ideas.

In the winter term we raised over £2700, all of which will benefit your children attending the school. From this, we paid for Forest School training for a member of staff, plus the equipment needed to start Forest School for all the children. We were also able to provide a large contribution towards a school trip for each class, as well as some lovely Christmas treats.
