World Book Day

8 March 2024Marketing

We have loved seeing all our pupils getting involved in World Book Day, with many activities happening across the school.

Razorbills were lucky enough to take part in with a World Book Day writing masterclass run by Pobble and the Vocabulary Ninja himself – Andrew Jennings! We joined schools from across the world to create a story using a picture of a beautiful library which inspired us to write some sophisticated sentences and really captured our imagination.

In Avocets, we spent the day getting each other books and enjoying some reading for pleasure time! It seems that Roald Dahl is a firm favourite in this class.
Kittiwakes class made a great effort with their props and favourite books. We enjoyed identifying all the characters and sharing our books with each other! ??
