Dawlish College Year 6 Welcome Evening

18 April 2024starcross_admin

Invitation To Dawlish College Year 6 Welcome Evening

We welcome you to join us for this informative evening on Wednesday 1st May – 5pm start

Change for anybody can be difficult; this is something we understand as a pastoral team. With that in mind, the transition process begins now to ensure positive relationships are developed and September is not a daunting prospect for your child.

This evening will begin the transition process by:

  • Meeting key staff in a relaxed setting
  • Giving an overview of the next few months
  • Introduction to the uniform & equipment needed for September
  • Issuing vital paperwork for completion
  • Giving an opportunity for Q & A about the transition of your child
  • An early opportunity for you to raise concerns/issues with our SEND and Pastoral team

I look forward to getting to know the students and welcoming them into our college community.

Kate Bukowski
Assistant Head teacher (Safeguarding, Welfare and Behaviour)
