Mental Health Ambassadors

This year, we have appointed ten pupils, from Years Four and Five, as Mental Health Ambassadors. They were chosen based on their strong job application forms on which they had detailed all of the qualities they have and how this would support them in successfully fulfilling the role.

Our Mental Health Ambassadors are:

Year 4 Year 5
Mathilda (link school councillor)

Millie

Mason

Marshall

Pippa

Esme (link school councillor)

Leah

Grace

Mia

Arthur

The group took up their role at the beginning of October and threw themselves straight into organising our Hello Yellow awareness day. They invited everyone to wear something yellow to school on Friday 10thOctober to mark World Mental Health Day and wrote and delivered a whole-school assembly to tell everyone what the day was about and thank them for participating.

The Mental Health Ambassadors are currently working on creating the characters for our ‘How Our Brains Work’ programme for the whole school and promote the following of ‘10-a-day’ to support good mental health.
