Kittiwakes have been answering the question, ‘Who Rules Britain?’ this term. In history, the children have been learning about monarchs, their role and succession. They really enjoyed watching footage of King Charles III’s coronation, especially when they got to reenact it. In DT the children explored existing toy crowns, designed their own and then made them. They used their knowledge of everyday materials which they have learned about in science this term to help them decide on the best material to make a toy crown.
